Deal of Kelvedon – Public Exhibition

October 21, 2022

A consultation event was held at the Deal of Kelvedon Garage Site, Station Road, Kelvedon, Essex, CO5 9NR on 20th October 2022 between 6pm until 8pm.

Kelvedon Village Developments in combination with Wincer Kievenaar Architects and design team are working to develop proposals for Cyril J Deal’s Garage site in Station Road, Kelvedon. Progress has been made over the last 12 months on a proposal to re-develop the redundant car sales element of the site to a Mixed Use scheme creating 29 apartments and ground floor retail and commercial space. New access, parking and landscaped amenity area is also provided.

The redevelopment of a contaminated brown field site will provide new employment and enhance the grocery retail opportunity in the village. One and two bedroomed apartments will help to provide starter homes for local residents. The developer considers that the proposed development fully satisfies the aims of the Kelvedon Neighbourhood Plan.
