NEW PROJECT IN THE PIPELINE FOR NEEB HOLDINGS

December 4, 2018

A new property scheme is making good ground in North Essex for Colchester-based NEEB Holdings.

A planning application has been submitted to Colchester Borough Council to build two new large office buildings for Apex 12 which is located on Old Ipswich Road, to the north east of Colchester, close to the A12 / A120 junctions.

Wincer Kievenaar, is the Architect and Colchester-based Horizon Construction will be the main contractor for the development. If all goes to plan, construction is proposed to start in the Autumn next year subject to tenants being secured.

Apex 12 is already the Head Office for NEEB Holdings, who specialise in the rental of modern office and industrial units in North Essex, and the new buildings have been designed with flexibility in mind and to cater for multi-tenant use. Marketed by Newman Commercial, the accommodation comprises small units of approx. 100sqm – 1.500sqm, with a total gross internal floor area of circa 2,300sqm.

Phil Branton, Director at Wincer Kievenaar Architects said: “This commercial scheme has called for a design that will both complement the existing Apex 12 development and ensure the finished result fits in seamlessly to the environment the buildings sit in. Our working relationship with NEEB Holdings has grown over recent years and we are delighted to be involved in this latest high-profile, high-quality project.
