Lavenham Village Hall

The new Village Hall in the historical village of Lavenham boasts a whole range of facilities to enhance the quality of life in the village and its surrounding areas.  This facility provides a diversity of activities including existing clubs and societies such as the Lavenham & District Garden Club, together with new activities such as carpet bowls, badminton, tea dances, day and evening classes and film nights.  The village library is located within the the building.

The building is a modern, disability-friendly meeting place with a high specification to meet the needs of the elderly and disabled people and the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, and provides an accessible and welcome venue for local groups and individuals.  It is also designed to attract younger people with specific activities aimed at pre-school and school aged children.  The Hall provides an environment where young people can feel safe, relaxed and welcome.
