Samford House

Samford House is a bespoke home created in an edge of village location.

The design takes a contemporary approach to the re-interpretation of familiar traditional forms. The building is arranged around a primary north-south asymmetrical ridge, which has higher eaves at the rear.  A glazed gable projects from the front and rear of the dwelling, forming the vaulted dining room at the front, and the master bedroom and living room to the rear.  Distinctive box dormer windows project from the front and rear, framing windows and doors.  The main living spaces have been positioned in order to benefit most from natural light and distant views to the east.
