St Joseph’s College Mixed Use Development Planning Submission

A planning application has been submitted to Ipswich Borough Council for a mixed use redevelopment of land at St Joseph’s College, Ipswich. The application comprises:

A new Boarding House adjacent to Emmanuel Close and Birkfield Drive.
The conversion of Goldrood House and Mews Cottages into 16 new apartments and houses.
The demolition of the existing 1960s boarding block.
35 new environmentally sustainable residential dwellings within new parkland public open space.
A new public woodland footpath will link from Belstead Road to Stone Lodge Lane.

The application follows many months of development and public consultation, and close collaboration with the design team:
