Proposed development for a 65-bed Care home, 18 no. over 55s Bungalows and amenity areas with associated access, parking and landscaping.

The proposed development is designed to meet an identified need for care provision and older people’s housing in the area. The care home will provide 65 rooms and the older people’s housing will comprise 18 no. over 55s bungalows of various sizes.

The care home spaces and the age restricted bungalows will provide an opportunity for residents of West Bergholt seeking specialist accommodation of this nature to stay in the village. Assuming this occurs the development will also free-up family homes, creating more housing choices for new and growing families.
