Meet the team
Based in the market town of Hadleigh, Suffolk, the practice was originally formed as an LLP in 1980 by architects Paul Kievenaar and Mark Wincer. Upon their retirement in 2015, the business was incorporated, becoming Wincer Kievenaar Architects Limited.
Today Wincer Kievenaar is led by directors, Philip Branton, who has been with the business since 2002, and Craig Western, who joined the practice in 2013. Continually growing, the professional team at Wincer Kievenaar currently comprises 18 dedicated members who form the backbone of the business. Together, our team includes 6 registered architects and 11 additional qualified staff, all bringing a wealth of experience in all fields of building design.
Wincer Kievenaar has evolved from a small architectural partnership, working with landowners and private individuals, into a limited company with an award-winning portfolio that extends across East Anglia. Drawing on our deep local knowledge and affinity for the area’s distinctive and understated character, we complete these nearby projects with pride and precision.
Over the years, we have undertaken a diverse range of projects, including commercial, sporting, community, educational, and residential buildings. However, we have built our strongest reputation through our architectural work with clients seeking bespoke, practical buildings that feature high-quality, innovative designs, perfectly tailored to meet their unique briefs and aspirations.
