Dwelling in Rushmere St Andrew gains Planning Permission

July 14, 2021

Planning approval has been granted for an individual home on an infill plot of land in Rushmere St Andrew.

The approval for the one and a half storey dwelling is intended to provide a new sustainable, low energy, low maintenance property that is adaptable to the client’s needs over time. Consideration was given to the scale and form of the vernacular of the area, whilst taking a contemporary approach to both internal layout and external aesthetic.

Traditional massing, form and materials have been developed to create a building and home of its time, whilst also considering its siting within the street scene. Materials selected are seen throughout Rushmere St Andrew, with floor to ceiling glazing aspects focused on the picturesque views across the countryside.
