We have remained busy throughout lockdown, and now an increasing workload means we are hoping to recruit two new positions to our team in Hadleigh.
PART 2 ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT or RECENTLY QUALIFIED PART 3 ARCHITECT
We are seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant or recently qualified Part 3 Architect who will have the experience, skills and knowledge of all RIBA work stages. The successful candidate will demonstrate high quality innovative and considered designs in accordance with the Core Values of the practice and aspire for high quality place making.
The positions will include working on a variety of projects within our varied portfolio both individually and as part of a team- including one-off house designs, listed building refurbishments and extensions, commerical offices and public buildings such as a new golf clubhouse for Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club.
What skills are needed:
Vectorworks 3D (preferable, but training will be given)
Experience of Construction Contract administration (JCT Suite)
Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
Competent in drafting Design and Access Statements
Knowledge of planning, building regulations, statutory compliance and technical standards
Experience of managing and working with other team members
Collaborative approach within the design team
Experience in sustainable and energy conscious design
